The national parks in Central India are now open for safaris. You have the option of enjoying your Tiger Safaris and staying in your private Camper Van with an added facility of the hospitality of a luxury lodge while staying completely isolated from other travelers. You will be able to drive out into the wilderness and stay in your own private “Home on Wheels”.
Here are some highlights to consider when you are ready to go on Tiger Safari in central India in a Camper Van.
- The Camper Van picks you up from your home or at any gateway airport – Nagpur, Jabalpur, Raipur or Bhopal. The Camper Van will be fully sanitized professionally before you board.
- The Camper Van will be stocked with soft beverages and packed meals provided from the hygienic kitchen of our partner lodges.
- The Camper Van will be parked in a safe and secure forested area in the lodge premises away from other guests. The lodge will provide 24 electricity, water and housekeeping facilities. The lodge naturalist will arrange for your tiger safaris into the park.
Meals
You will have the option to use the dining facility at the lodge or have the meals served to you in the Camper Van site. In the evenings you can have your private campfire and BBQ. It is also possible to put up small tents next to your Camper Van if you require more social distancing among your group members.
Camper Van Amenities
The Camper Van depending on the model, can comfortably sleep two to eight people and have the following features:
- Centrally air-conditioned, powered by a generator / power source.
- A toilet and a shower facility with hot water
- Kitchenette with burners and a sink
- Mini fridge and microwave/oven and barbeque grill
- TV and music system
- Camping chairs, awning, a four-sleeper tent, portable shower, indoor games.
Camper Van Driver
Social distancing will be maintained between the passengers and the driver during journeys. There is a divider between the driver’s cabin and the passenger area. The driver will sleep in a separate venue at each Camper Van campsite. The driver will be tested for Covid-19 before commencing the tour.

This lodge overlooks the Denwa river and the park.
Pench National Park – Pench Tree Lodge
This is the only lodge near the secluded Karmajhiri gate. The lodge has its own 50 acres private forest within its periphery.
Panna National Park – Ken River Lodge
Located overlooking the Ken river, here you can also engage in boating and fishing activities.
