Vishal Singh

Vishal has been a conservationist, entrepreneur and change maker in wildlife and adventure tourism for over 25 years. As the co-founder India Tiger Safari, Vishal passionately leads the company to go further to protect, educate, conserve, reforest and support local communities through TOFT (Travel Operators for Tigers), of which he is a founder member and India Director. As an avid outdoor cyclist, Vishal created a 180k bike charity ride Bike4Tigers through the jungle corridor connecting two of central India’s tiger parks. He also founded Royal Expeditions, Indias leading tour company which he passionately operates offering experiences throughout India, Nepal and Bhutan.

Vijendra has grown up in the holy town of Rishikesh, also known as the yoga capital of the world. His interaction with tourists across the globe, thanks to his father’s restaurant, inspired him to pursue a masters in tourism. He has 7yrs of rich experience in escorting tours all over India. He takes a keen interest in cooking and is loves horse riding.

Ritish Suri

Ritish Suri has been based around Corbett Tiger Reserve for almost two decades, leading nature-based trips focusing on mammals, birds, butterflies, reptiles and the varied flora found around the country. His expertise extends from the Corbett Landscape to most places in Western Himalayas, North East of India, Ladakh and parts of Central India. He has guided educational programs, wildlife filming & wildlife sound recording. He also assists Icon Films with logistics in northern India. Ritish is a keen photographer, nature lover and likes discovering anything in the natural world.

Durgesh Kumar Singh has a decade long experience in the wildlife tourism sector. Trained as a Naturalist by AndBeyond-South Africa, he has worked in various lodges of Taj Safaris in Madhya Pradesh. A keen wildlife photographer, his photos have featured in various magazines.

Anant has been a wildlife guide and naturalist from the last 16years. He has worked in the areas of responsible tourism and has been devoted to conservation of wildlife and local communities. He has lead a wide variety of groups – wildlife, adventure and angling, photographers and fil makers. He is a keen artist and takes special interest in charcoal sketching and fishing,

Kartikeya Singh

Kartikeya Singh

Kartikeya has a Masters degree in Ecology and Environment and more than twenty years of experience working in the field of wildlife, this includes eight years of research experience working with Wildlife Institute of India studying Indian wolves and lions. He is one of the specialists involved in the reintroduction of Gaur (India Bison) from Kanha to Bandhavgarh. He has experience in developing and implementing conservation management projects for the government, translocation of wild animals, wildlife conflict management, trainings to front line forest department staff, training naturalists, guides and drivers involved in wildlife tourism.

Harsha

Harsha

Widely travelled and an explorer by nature, Harsha has had a wide range of wilderness experiences through his career which included working at a wildlife rescue centre as a student, leading nature programs for kids, working as a naturalist at wildlife lodges in India where he later grew to becoming a naturalist trainer. In the wild, he most enjoys identifying and understanding animal behavior of all sorts of wildlife. He went on to freelance guiding to be able to work in a variety of habitats and geographies. Harsha’s cheerful nature along with his knowledge and eagerness to explore makes him a phenomenal naturalist leader who knows how to captivate guests’ interest and keep them spell bound with his wildlife stories.

Payal Mehta

Payal Mehta

Payal was born and schooled in Mumbai. Being a city girl all her early life, she surprised her friends and family when, soon after university, she decided to go away to the Central Indian jungles to join a Naturalist Training programme. Payal got trained in mountaineering and did her Masters in Geology, all for the opportunity to be in the wild. She has written a booklet on butterflies for a Nature Park in Rajasthan where she spent time training local youth. She has recently even done a children’s book for Story Weaver. One of her most exciting non-guiding experience was working as a camera person for a wildlife series where along with her husband, she filmed wildlife of Ladakh and Assam.

Himanshu Rathore

Himanshu Rathore

Himanshu Rathore, an experienced and professional naturalist, is also an award-winning wildlife photographer. He trained as a naturalist at Bandhavgarh National Park under the guidance of renowned naturalists Graham Vercuil and Sarath Champati. He has worked at both Bandhavgarh and Pench National Parks before embarking on free-lance tour leadership at a number of major parks and sanctuaries, including Bandhavgarh, Bharatpur, Chambal, Kabini, Kanha, Nagerhole, Pench, Ranthambore, Satpura and Phinda in South Africa.

Working with the Snow Leopard Trails for more than 25 years, Chitta is our expert Snow Leopard Guide, and is easily one of the best spotters in the world. He has successfully led more than a hundred snow leopard expeditions over the years and worked with the teams of the BBC Planet Earth II, Silent Roar PBS, and Steve Winter photography.

Surya Ramachandran

Surya Ramachandran

Surya, an engineer from Chennai pursued his passion into the wild. His love for wildlife and eagerness to learn led him exploring India’s special and rare mammals, birds, reptiles and butterflies. Irrespective of the national park, Surya enjoys the idea of guiding and explaining the little secrets of the jungle to people rather than just seeing it for himself. He is also one of the certified expedition leaders for the WWF international team and their donors. Irrespective of the region or faunal diversity Surya’s zeal and vigour never fails to captivate guests. His continued undying passion and dedication led him to be awarded the prestigious TOFT award for the year 2016.

Rohit has 14yrs of rich experience in successful handling of various art & architecture groups. He has been in charge of guiding some very prestigious Hollywood clients like Dame Judi Dench, Dame Maggie Smith, Celia Imrie, Tom Wilkinson, Dev Patel, and Naomi Campbell. He has done specialized art and architecture tours for some well know industrialists from various continents.
